At Around Town Publishing we target the community of Roswell with the magazine you now hold in your hands. It is a celebration of the life in your community. We want you to see someone you know when you open the magazine each month. We want you to find something new in each issue. Much of this information comes from you and we want to say "thank you." The great thing about publishing a one of a kind community magazine like Around Town Roswell is that you have an opportunity to see glimpses of generations of families. Images of that first birthday celebrated on our birthday page and the love of wonderful grandparents, both can be seen in this month’s issue. With all the busyness of life, it is the simpler things that bring the most enjoyment. It is wonderful to see love captured in the words of kids as they share what their grandparents mean to them. Our Grandparent of the Year for 2008 Linda Price, was nominated by her grandson, Alex Blecker. On the cover this month is Invisible Fence® by Peachtree. The knowledgeable, professional staff of Invisible Fence® by Peachtree has served the local community for over two decades. With friendly pet management consultants and certified installers and dog trainers, Invisible Fence® by Peachtree can provide superior solutions to meet a variety of your needs. You can find their story beginning on page 16. Fall is in the air and Roswell has many events during the month of September for you to enjoy with your family. The 42nd Annual Roswell Arts Festival will be held in historic Town Square on September 20 and 21. You can take your dog running during the first annual Hoof and Woof 5K on Saturday, September 13 at Riverside Park. Also at Riverside Park on September 27, you can join Keep Roswell Beautiful for the 18th annual North Fulton Rivers Alive Festival and help make a difference for the Chattahoochee River. Around Town Roswell provides a meeting place for community and a targeted marketing tool for small businesses. Thanks for participating through sharing the voice of your community with us.
